Emotional Intelligence

LEAD Advisory Group is trained and certified in several types of assessments. We specialize in working with individuals and organizations to help use these tools to strengthen leadership and organizational effectiveness.

For almost 20 years, consultants and organizations have trusted the science that underpins the EQ-i 2.0® (and its predecessor the EQ-i 1.0) to help improve human performance. The EQ-i 2.0 is a psychometric assessment which measures emotional intelligence (EI) and how it can impact people and the workplace. Being the first scientifically validated measure of EI, coupled with research from premier organizations, means you can count on the EQ-i 2.0 to add robustness and accuracy to your talent management initiatives. Applications of emotional intelligence include leadership development, executive coaching, team building, student development, organizational development, and recruitment.

The Emotionally Effective Leader Workshop is designed to be an interactive session which includes class instruction, individual work, and both small and large group activities. Participants of the program will have an understanding of emotional intelligence using the EQ-i 2.0 model as a platform plus learning the applications of emotional intelligence to transformational leadership. The workshop will enable participants to identify specific areas in their own EQ-i 2.0 Leadership Reports and build an action plan to work on areas to develop further and leverage strengths, plus identify and understand how aspects of emotional intelligence can lead to derailing behaviors. Finally, they will be able to develop a personal Leadership Effectiveness Framework.

Assessments

Facet5 is one of the most modern and advanced measures of personality available today. Used by organizations and consultancies worldwide, Facet5 harnesses the power of personality, supporting individuals, teams and businesses to realize their full potential. Facet5 provides a simple model and a common language to explain how people differ in their behavior, motivation, and attitudes, and more importantly, what can be achieved.

CareerLeader will help guide you in designing and navigating a path to career success and satisfaction. We start with what interests you because that is your true competitive advantage. Then, we delve into what skills you want to use and what motivates you. (Skills and motivators are important modifying influences, but it is the combination of interests, skills and motivators that should drive your choices and decisions. And that’s the premise of CareerLeader.)

The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® assessment is a way to measure psychological personality preferences. It was first developed over 75 years ago. MBTI stands for Myers-Briggs Type Indicator. This assessment is a way to measure how we get energy, take in information, make decisions, and organize our world.
The MBTI® assessment is a psychometric tool that gives you insight into what makes you you. By developing a clearer sense of self-awareness and awareness of others, you are able to better frame decisions, reduce miscommunication, and understand personal needs more effectively. And that is a good skill to have.
